Video Surveillance System Inside Technical Premises

The television surveillance system is designed for remote monitoring of approaches to secured zones, perimeter sections and other areas of the protected building space for current situation assessment, monitoring intruder actions and movements, coordinating security personnel actions.

The television surveillance system provides:

  • overview of all secured zones to determine nature and location of violations, intruder movement direction;
  • operational situation control inside the complex with recording of unauthorized actions and penetration attempts into secured territory;
  • monitoring of security personnel actions with subsequent analysis capability;
  • malfunction monitoring with operator notification and information archiving;
  • continuous, motion-triggered and scheduled multiplexed video information recording to hard drives;
  • video archive creation and viewing.

Characteristics of the internal IP video surveillance television system during operation provides the following modes:

  • capability to activate cameras manually from control panel or automatically when detection devices trigger;
  • real-time monitoring of protected object;
  • video recording from event location according to pre-set program or single command.

Video surveillance system cameras are installed at:

  • object perimeter and access roads, main and service entrances to object;
  • vehicle inspection zones;
  • loading/unloading zones;
  • entrance and exit checkpoints;
  • common visitor vestibules;
  • building entrance lobbies;
  • pass bureau;
  • building elevator lobbies;
  • all corridors, stairwells and halls;
  • control room premises;
  • entrances/exits to machine rooms, technical premises, dispatch rooms;
  • aisles between racks in machine rooms.

Object Description

The residential complex represents a multi-apartment residential building with commercial premises on ground floor and residential premises above. Adjacent territory includes: playground, two parking areas, waste storage area, checkpoint at entrance group.

  • Provide video surveillance system coverage for overview of adjacent territory, car parks, playground.
  • Provide video surveillance system coverage of entrance zone for vehicle recording with vehicle identification capability.
  • Provide video surveillance system coverage of adjacent territory with main people movement routes using PTZ cameras

  • Provide video surveillance system coverage of elevator lobbies and elevator cabin premises

Administrator workstation

Checkpoint security guard workstation

  • Provide video viewing capability from cameras directed at entrance zone, parking areas, playground and waste area.

Resident video viewing

  • Provide residents with video viewing capability from cameras directed at entrance group, playground, parking areas and residential entrance group via internet connection using cloud services.

Integration with unified city video surveillance system

  • According to city government regulations, provide courtyard territory overview with video data stream transmission to unified system.
  • Follow IP system integration scheme into unified system

Install video server(s) or archiving devices in technical premises of residential complex building. Switching is also allowed in technical premises of residential complex. Locate administrator workstation in separate room near separate rest room. Install additional operator workstation in checkpoint room.

Within project framework, ensure server, network equipment and cameras operability for at least 10 minutes during power outage.

Recorded information storage requirements

To save disk space, video data recording from cameras not requiring integration with unified system should be performed by motion detection using intelligent inter-frame compression codecs. For cameras with integration into unified system, provide archive capacity considering continuous recording using inter-frame compression codecs. Guaranteed video data storage period for all system cameras should be at least 30 days. Video input rate in archive should be at least 18 fps for regular cameras and 25fps for cameras integrated into unified system. Video archive should be protected from failure of at least one HDD using fault-tolerant RAID arrays.

To provide cloud access to security television system, ensure connection to two independent providers with internet connection.

Inside residential building, ensure cable laying in vandal-resistant design.

Provide spare parts kit for digital video server for HDD, fans and power supply modules replacement for estimated failure period of at least three years.
