DESIGNING TV
-
Basic technical solutions
SKPT is a set of technical means for receiving television (TV) signals from various sources of digital television signals and converting signals into digital packets. A hybrid fiber-optic coaxial network is used as the propagation medium of the received TV channels. Digital packets are transmitted in coded and unencrypted form.
TV receivers with a DVB - C tuner can be used to watch broadcast TV channels .
-
antenna complex consisting of 4 satellite dishes and one terrestrial antenna;
-
central equipment consisting of a headend (3 chassis) and cascaded multiswitch;
-
vertical subsystem SKPT consisting of an optical transmitter, an optical amplifier, an attenuator, optical receivers, an optical splitter, as well as optical switching cords LC / APC - SC / APC and SC / APC - SC / APC ;
-
horizontal subsystem SKPT consisting of dividers, TV-outlets and coaxial cable type RG -6 and RG -11.
In accordance with the requirements of the technical specifications, SKPT is designed on the basis of the equipment of the company WISI .
Antenna complex is designed to receive digital TV channels of terrestrial and satellite television. It consists of one antenna for receiving digital terrestrial television (1 and 2 multiplexes) and 4 satellite offset parabolic antennas for receiving a satellite signal from 13-degree orbital positions. VD, 19 degrees WD, 36 degrees E, and 56 degrees. vd The receiving antennas are located on the roof of the office building, the specific location of the antenna complex is determined on sheet 23 of this taxiway.
Signals received via the drop cables of type N 71 LSZH are fed to the WISI DY- 25 and DY 26 multiswitcher , designed to amplify and distribute the input satellite and terrestrial signals. Amplification of digital terrestrial television signals is not required, since the input signal level is in the sensitivity range of the receiving tuner.
After multiswitchers, all signals are sent to the WISI CHAMELEON head station . Various input and output formats are set by the installed software and hardware options. All software options can be changed at any time during operation. CHAMELEON modules include DVB-S / S2, DVB-T / T2 and DVB-C receivers. The modules also include MPEG-2 / MPEG-4 decoders, as well as support for decoding MPEG, AAC HE and AC-3 audio formats.
In the universal modules included in the GS there are slots for installing CAM- modules for the possibility of receiving coded channels. Themselves CAM- modules and licenses for CI in the amount of 10 pcs. provided by the specification.
The head station is a 3U high GT50W base chassis, which houses 10 GN_HWUW2 modules. Also, according to the specification, the specification provides for the GN_HWENCW module - an MPEG-4 HD / SD encoder with an HDMI input.
Each module is a 2-channel universal digital tuner with independent inputs, which allows you to receive signals of the following standards DVB-T, DVB-T2, DVB-C, DVB-S, DVB-S2, IP . The head station is controlled locally or remotely via a web interface. Each tuner receives 1 digital transponder, so each module receives 2 digital transponders.
The head station should be tuned according to the frequency plan / channel list agreed with the Customer. (at the moment, due to the lack of channel lists, the composition of the TOS is chosen universal).

A preliminary breakdown of licenses by module is presented in Table 1. The exact binding of licenses will be made during the commissioning of the system.
PROJECT DOCUMENTATION OF TELEVISION
When purchasing universal modules, free technical support is provided (including free firmware update) for 1 year, further updating is an option (GN M3 key “Access key for 3-year service option”). A dedicated chassis with 10 modules is provided for broadcasting signals from the NTV + operator.
For communication between the chassis, the specification provides a level 2 switch with an MMF 850nm SFP module.
After the HS, the signals arrive at the input of the DM17A adders, after which the DM03B is fed into the vertical subsystem of the DCMS through the divider DM03B.
With the existing WISI OH50 HS at the facility, it is planned to receive the FM-band signal by “mixing” the signal into the projected CTPS through the project divider DM03B provided by the project.
The A / V signal is also planned to be received from the existing HS WISI OH50. The project provides for mounting the VX 26 amplifier to the line from the existing HS.
For these purposes, the existing station has the appropriate modules - see Section 8 of this PZ.
Technical solutions for the vertical subsystem adopted in this project are provided for floors c 1 to technical. Vertical fiber-optic distribution network is provided for by the project UIVE.24872-SKS.
For the possibility of broadcasting television signals from the premises of the KKE-08A cross-station, in which the central equipment is located, the project UIVE.24872-SKS provides an optical backbone. An optical splitter 1:16 SYSTIMAX is provided in the optical path for organizing the distribution of the signal over the QCE according to the “star” scheme.
To transmit the TV signal to the optical backbone, an optical transmitter WISI platform OCTOPUS LX 15 S 1000 with internal modulation, operating at a wavelength of 1550 nm, is used.
An optical amplifier LX30S 1401 is provided to enhance the level of the optical signal as part of the OPTOPUSplatform. A 3 dB optical attenuator must be installed at the input of the amplifier to prevent possible overload of the amplifier.
To organize the broadcast of a television signal by floors, the signal is reversed for broadcasting via a coaxial cable. The conversion is carried out using an optical receiver WISI LR 26 A , installed in telecommunication cabinets in KKE-xA and KKE-xV.
For the organization of taps into the subscriber (horizontal) distribution network, the project provides for the use of dividers DM 02 B (on the 1st floor - DM 04 B ) of the company WISI . Dividers are installed in the same cabinets as optical receivers.
In the horizontal distribution network, WISI couplers of 4/20 dB, 4/16 dB, 4/12 dB are used, which are installed in the installation boxes under the raised floor or behind the false ceiling.
To construct a distribution network, the project envisages the use of cables of the N series manufactured by BetaCavi (Italy): N 71 LSZH for sub-trunk wiring andN 48 XLSZH for subscription distribution on floors.
Subscriber sockets and cables are designed to work in the frequency range 48.5-862 MHz (for the transmission of a television signal) and 65-74 MHz, 88-108 MHz (for VHF and FM broadcasting). Outlets have 2 outputs: broadcasting and broadcasting. Install subscriber sockets under the raised floor, behind the false ceiling in surface-mounted boxes and on walls.
Cabling
-
Cable brands used in the project:
-
sub-trunk cable - coax cable N71LSZH;
-
subscriber cable - coaxial cable brand N48XLSZH.
Sub-trunk cable should be laid under the raised floor in cable trays (provided for by UVE.24872-SKS project). Outside the trays, the cables should be laid in a corrugated pipe with a diameter of 16 mm.
On the technical and minus ground floors, the laying of sub-trunk cable should be performed in the SKS tray mounted on the ceiling of the corresponding floors.
Power supply
-
Power supply of equipment SKPT is carried out from AC sockets ~ 220 V, 50 Hz (provided by the project on power supply) installed in telecommunication cabinets. The project provides for the task of powering the elements of the system.
The mode of operation of the designed equipment is round-the-clock, without interruption during the entire service life, except for carrying out the necessary preventive, maintenance and repair works that should be planned with minimal damage to the user - during off-hours and days off.
24-hour service equipment is not required.
Equipment maintenance is carried out by the staff of the planning and preventive system. The content of works for each type of equipment is determined by the relevant operating instructions provided by the supplier companies.
