The design provides for the following types of interior lighting:

  • primary lighting;
  • after-hours lighting (combined with the emergency lighting);
  • emergency lighting (escape lighting and standby lighting);
  • maintenance lighting with reduced voltage.

 Decisions taken as a part of the project ensure life and health friendly operation of the facility, efficient and comfortable online service as well as meet the requirements specified by codes and rules in force within the Russian Federation.

LED lighting fixtures are used as light sources. These lighting fixtures have been selected with consideration of environment and functional purpose of premises and in compliance with the requirements of SP 52.13330.2011* “Daylight and Artificial Illumination”, with protection rating from IP20 to IP65.

After-hours lighting is provided for in such public spaces as lobbies, corridors, lift halls. The after-hours lighting uses lighting fixtures of escape lighting.

Emergency (standby) lighting is provided for in corridors, technical premises, service driveways, in the MEP corridor. Also the escape lighting is provided for large spaces (anti-panic lighting) in premises of more than 60m².

Escape lighting is provided for on escape routes, in corridors and passages along the escape route, in the places of changing level of floor or floor cover (level variations), in the area of each change of escape route direction, at intersections of corridors and passages, in front of each emergency exit.

Indicator lights (safety signs) are mounted:

  • above each emergency exit;
  • on escape routes, clearly indicating the direction of evacuation;
  • in order to mark the location of emergency fire-fighting appliances, including places of fire hydrants mounting;
  • in order to mark the location of emergency communication equipment.

Emergency lighting will be performed from the Central UPS (White Light) with batteries for 15 minutes, and connected to the standby.

In those technical premises, which are dangerous in terms of electrical safety, a network of maintenance lighting with reduced voltage is provided for. Mounting of step-down transformers of ЯТП 0.25-23-УЗ 230/36V 100VA series is provided for maintenance lighting, intending to connect portable lights and power tools. Socket network of reduced voltage (36V) is fitted with socket outlets with distinctive colour.

Lighting fixtures of primary lighting are mounted on the ceiling or built-in into the false ceiling. Attachment of lighting fixtures on hanger brackets and to walls must be carried out in compliance with the requirements of SNiP 3.05.06-85 and GOST R 50571.1 - 50571.16. See the locations of lighting fixtures on lighting layouts. Locations can be specified according to each particular location but not more than 0.5m horizontally. Fastening element of a lighting fixture to the mounting surface (structure) must be dismountable.

Connection of lighting fixtures to the branch circuit must be carried out via terminal boxes, which ensure connection of both copper wire with section up to 4mm². Wire ends connected to lighting fixtures, automatic circuit breakers, breaker boxes and wiring devices must have a sufficient length reserve for reconnection in case of their breakage. Cable inlets to lighting fixtures and wiring devices, in case of their outdoor mounting, must be sealed for protection against duct and moisture.

The lighting and power network is performed by cables with copper conductors in a sheath, flame retardant with low smoke and gas allocation from the halogen-free compositions, stamps ППГнг(А)-HF. Network emergency (evacuation) lighting are fire-resistant cables, brand ППГнг(А)-FRHF. The drop to the outlet to perform for falshstenami in PVC tubes, flame retardant.

Lighting control of common areas: halls, corridors is from shield of light or remotely from the dispatching system of the building(KNX). Control cables Dali, KNX sensors will be considered in the section box.

Levels of lighting shall be determined in accordance with the requirements of Russian and international standards, and in accordance with the instructions of the Customer. The lighting calculation.

Equipment and materials must be authorized and certified. PVC pipes must have the fire safety certificate НБП 246-97.

Electrical mounting and pre-commissioning works must be performed in compliance with SNiP 3.05.06-85 and PUE requirements.

The calculation of lighting network has been performed in terms of voltage loss. Voltage losses from transformer substation to the most remote lighting fixture does not exceed 5%.

Within the working design the TN-S grounding system is implemented. It is necessary to ground all electric equipment, as well as metal structures that may become live if insulation is damaged.
