Design of the raised floor in the office of the Business Center BC

Main technical solutions for the raised floor project

Premises

In the premises of KKE (14 pcs.) It is planned to carry out a raised floor with a height of space under the raised floor of at least 500 mm. In the premises of the GKK (1 pc.), CK-1 (1 pc.) It is planned to carry out a raised floor with a height of space under the raised floor of at least 600 mm. Raised floor should be antistatic in the factory version of the manufacturer of raised floor slabs. At the entrance to the room set ramp or steps. In the rooms of KKE, steps are provided. In the GKK room a ramp is provided. In the room SC-1 steps and ramps are provided. Room parameters: rooms are dry, humidity up to 60%. The main type of load in the room are electrical equipment and telecommunications equipment. Area of premises:

  • room GKK - 109 m2;
  • KKE space - 14.82 m (area of one room);
  • room SK – 1 - 102m2 .

Raised floor is a design consisting of fully removable and interchangeable floor tiles, supported by adjustable racks or stringers (or both) and opening access to the space under the raised floor. Raised floor is created for the possibility of arranging under it cable structures (metal trays for cable engineering systems), pipes, air conditioning systems and gas fire extinguishing. Raised floor produced by LINDNER Holding KG & A (Germany). Figure 1 shows the raised floor design. Raised floor construction:

  • chipboard high-density raised floor panel (for KKE rooms);
  • calcium sulphate panel (for the premises of SC-1 and SCC);
  • pad on the upper part of the rack;
  • sheet steel;
  • raised floor stand;
  • stand base;
  • “clean” floor.

Raised floor plate

Plates are used as the main material for raised flooring. They comply with sanitary and epidemiological rules GN 2.1.6.1338-03, GN 2.1.6.1339-03. The design of the plate is shown in the figure.

  • optional topcoat;
  • protective trim panel edge;
  • bottom cover;
  • chipboard of high density E1 or calcium sulphate.

The underside of the slab is a sheet of galvanized steel (0.5 mm thick). It also serves to create a single equipotential surface. The side surfaces of the slab are sloped downwards at an angle of 5 °, which makes it easier to remove the panel and rearrange it. This project is based on the technical requirements:

  • The use of raised floor slabs of the type S 38 ST is proposed in KKE premises (Table 2);
  • In the premises of SK-1 and GKK - U 36 ST plates (Table 3).

Slabs adjacent to the walls are installed last, when the installation of the rest of the floor is completed. These plates are cut to the size of the room. The cut edges of the slab must be treated with a special polymer composition. Ventec steel panels with perforation. Perforated raised floor panels are needed to ventilate the space under the raised floor. The panel is refractory and is a welded steel galvanized frame, covered with a steel sheet with round-shaped holes. The area of perforations, with a diameter of 8 mm, is 15% of the total surface area of the panel. Table 4 shows the technical characteristics of the perforated panel.

Racks (supports) raised floor

  • a pad on the rack;
  • the upper part of the rack;
  • stand base

It is proposed to use racks of standard construction (Figure 3). For the rooms of KKE and SK-2 with a height of 550 mm - H3 racks. For FCC and SK-1 height of 6 50 mm - racks of type H 3. The surface of the racks are chromed to prevent corrosion. Racks are attached to the "clean" floor with glue. If necessary, the rack is trimmed to the desired height. Rack load limit:

  • Along the axis (Figure 4 a) for H 3 - 3000 kg;
  • Offset relative to the axis (Figure 4 b) for H 3 - 1250 kg.

Apply lining with four limiters. The lining is made of polyethylene or polyamide with high conductivity without PVC. On the side of the panel lining has a non-slip surface. The panel is fixed with a rack disk and cannot fall off it during operation. Reinforced type RM stringers are used to strengthen the system in horizontal and vertical directions. RM type stringers are made of galvanized sheet steel by cold bending. These stringers have a U-shaped intersectional fastening form, the springs are on the side supports. The holes on the upper side of the stringer are designed for fastening to the racks using self-tapping screws (Figure 6). At a step of racks less than standard (600 mm) stringers are cut to the required length. Table 5 shows the technical characteristics of the stringer.

Figure 7 shows the types of loads on the national structure of the raised floor: A - concentrated load on the center of the panel; B - concentrated load in the middle of the panel edge. For the S 38 ST slab, the permissible load A is 510 kg, B - 450 kg (the loaded surface area is 25x25 mm, the deflection of the raised floor plate is not more than 2 mm). For the U 36 ST slab, the permissible load A is 950 kg, B - 700 kg (the loaded surface area is 25x25 mm, and the hollow floor bend is no more than 2 mm). According to Lindner AG (Germany), the distributed load per 1 m2 of prefabricated raised floor design with a uniform load on 4 racks of the raised floor for: Type Ligna S 38 ST - 4500 kg. In terms of the area of one panel (0.36 m2), the value of the distributed load was obtained - 1620 kg / m2, which satisfies the conditions of the design task Type Nortec U 36ST - 6000 kg. In terms of the area of one panel (0.36 m2), we obtained the value of the distributed load - 2160 kg / m2, which satisfies the conditions of the design assignment. The steel sheet on the bottom surface of the panels provides a single equipotential surface of the mounted raised floor. Since the racks on the racks are made of electrically conductive material, all panels of the mounted raised floor are in electrical contact with each other and with the power elements of the structure. The raised floor system is grounded using special grounding clips. The clip is installed on the rack pipe, at the rate of one clip on 20 raised floor panels. Grounding clips are connected with a PVZ 1x16 mm2 cable, which must be crimped using a special tip. Copper lugs are connected to the main busbar of the protective grounding of the room or to the building grounding bus Ground wires are laid in existing trays. Outside the trays, ground cables are laid in a corrugated pipe under the raised floor

Base Requirements

The floor surface should be smooth horizontal, a slope of no more than 1 mm per 1 m and no more than 5 mm along the entire length. The base of the floor must withstand the installation of power elements of the raised floor and their operation for a long time. The use of wooden structures is unacceptable. Apply a coating to the surface of the concrete screed to ensure that there is no dust on the floor surface: perform the final alignment of the screed with Bergauf Boden Zement Final mortar (TU 5745-001-70792066-2005) followed by painting with Primer 1101 (TU 2388-006-10861980-2003) and paint Polyflex 1101 (TU 2388-006-10861980-2003).  Floor covering and wall decoration in process rooms should not accumulate dust, static electricity and produce vapors and gases that cause rusting of metal parts of equipment. The content of corrosive agents in the air in accordance with GOST 15150-69.

Maintenance Requirement

Annual inspection of the raised floor design by qualified specialists. Check the location of the panels twice a year and eliminate any malfunctions. Before installing additional equipment on the raised floor, as well as before making the cutout, it is necessary to strengthen the design of the raised floor with an additional stand (this type of work should be performed by a qualified specialist). Replacement as the components of the raised floor are worn, such as: protective coating of the edges of the panels, stringers, gaskets. After making cuts in the panels, it is imperative to install protective pads around the perimeter. If necessary, wipe the floor with a damp cloth made of soft cloth moistened with a special cleaning agent.
